St Ferrer has completed the fit-out and refurbishment project at Jack Barker Pavilion in Cheltenham for Bayside City Council. Working in conjunction with CohenLeigh Architects, the refurbishment focused on transforming two change rooms. Completed swiftly over 10 weeks, each change room now boasts modern shower facilities, updated bathrooms, and new flooring.
Key features of the project include eight shower cubicles distributed across the change rooms, first aid facilities, and a disability-access bathroom, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all. The facility serves as a home to both the Cheltenham Rosellas and Cheltenham Cricket Club, providing upgraded amenities that will benefit the local sports community for years to come.
The previous Jack Barker Pavilion faced persistent water ingress issues, necessitating a complete overhaul to ensure the longevity and usability of the space. Our team at St Ferrer began work promptly after the demolition of the existing facilities, focusing on reinstating and enhancing the pavilion to meet contemporary standards and the community’s needs.
“…the team are raving about how great Jack Barker is looking and what a fab job your team has done,” said Jessica O’Reilly, Procurement Business Partner, Commercial Services at Bayside City Council.
