The Montague School is a specialist institution catering to students aged 15 to 19 with a mild intellectual disability. Anticipating an increase in enrolments to a capacity of 50 students in the coming years, St Ferrer successfully delivered upgrades to the school’s existing 1880s heritage brick building, creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment that better represents and supports the school community.
The works included renovations and extensions to the heritage brick building, providing a new accessible reception area, internal refurbishments, and the construction of a new façade and servery entry deck into the Home Economics space. Additionally, new landscaping was completed to enhance the overall surroundings.
