The Montague School is a specialist institution catering to students aged 15 to 19 with a mild intellectual disability. Anticipating an increase in enrolment to a capacity of 50 students in the coming years, St Ferrer has been tasked with upgrades to the school’s existing 1880s heritage brick building, with the goal of creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment that better represents and supports the school community.
The planned works encompass renovations and extensions to the heritage brick building. This will provide a new accessible reception area, internal refurbishments, and construction of a new facade and servery entry deck into the Home Economics space. Additionally, there will be new landscape works to enhance the overall surroundings.
