St Ferrer was engaged by the Department of Education to deliver a 1,950m² refurbishment of their Coburg office, addressing ageing infrastructure and improving staff amenities. Delivered across the North and South wings, the works were staged over two phases to minimise disruption within the live environment.
The refurbishment included demolition of existing elements and the installation of new solid and glazed partition walls, joinery items, two kitchens, and over 100 workstations, including sit-stand options.
The upgraded workspace also incorporates locker banks, a wellness room, focus rooms, meeting rooms, and quiet booths to support a range of working styles. The fitout increased overall workstation capacity, providing a more flexible environment to accommodate evolving staff needs.
